Esio Trot – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

Esio Trot is a good book. Now, you may be wondering what does Esio Trot means. Well if read backwards, it spells Tortoise! Classic Roald Dahl!

Back to topic, Esio Trot is a love story between Mr. Hoppy and Mrs. Silvers, who are both neighbours. It’s obviously a children’s level love story. So, to make Mrs. Silvers(she’s a widow) fall for him, Mr. Hoppy tries to accomplish a feat, featuring Mrs. Silvers beloved tortoise, Alfie. The thing is, it’s really short. Even shorter than The Twits. To read my book review of The Twits, click on this link:-https://renee.art.blog/2020/08/05/the-twits-roald-dahl-book-review/ .

In conclusion, it’s a good short book and even though it is a love story, it’s suitable for kids and children.

It is available on Amazon (Kindle Edition) for Rs. 175.52.

The Twits – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

The Twits is an interesting book, though it is quite short. It’s about a horrible couple, Mr. Twit and Mrs. Twit. Kind of like George’s Marvellous Medicine, they are taught a lesson by their monkeys. It is interesting as well as disgusting, but that’s how many of Roald Dahl’s books are. There are many memorable characters, for example, the Roly-Poly Bird. In conclusion, it’s an interesting, kind of short book.

As you may know by now, I’m a fan of Roald Dahl’s books. So, if you know any other books on Amazon, please do let me know!

George’s Marvellous Medicine – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

George’s Marvellous Medicine is a really fascinating book. It’s about how George tries to teach his wicked grandmother a lesson. He combines so many things, from all around the house. It’s fascinating and disgusting at the same time. It has a happy ending, not that Roald Dahl’s books have negative endings. In conclusion, it’s a good fascinating book, which still interests me.

It is available on Amazon (Kindle Edition) for Rs. 175.75.

Boy : Tales Of Childhood – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

Boy : Tales Of Childhood is a reasonably good book, and is an autobiography of Roald Dahl, especially his childhood, even though he wouldn’t like to call it that. There are many incidents in it which are memorable. He tells us about his school life, boyhood, friendship, his antics and more. But to be honest, I was a tiny bit bored, but that was because I was a bit smaller than the appropriate age to read the book. In conclusion, it’s a good autobiography of Roald Dahl’s childhood.

It is available on Amazon (Kindle Edition) for Rs. 199.50.

Danny The Champion Of The World – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

Danny The Champion Of The World is great book, based on fatherhood and the bond between a father and a son. It has many adventures in it. The biggest adventure in the book is at the end, which I won’t reveal, since I don’t want to give any spoilers. There are many memorable people too. In conclusion, it’s a very good book about fatherhood and the bond between a father and son.

It is available on Amazon (Kindle Edition) for Rs. 183.35.

The Witches – Roald Dahl (Book Review)

The Witches was a great book that I read. The description of the witches was also vivid. The book is not about the witches described in movies and other books. It is very different. For example, according to this book, witches are BALD! I know, totally different! Roald Dahl has written it like the protagonist has written the book himself. It was fascinating as well as disgusting and creepy(in a good way though) In conclusion, I liked the book very much, and I think it’s something that I’ll remember for a long time.

It’s available on Amazon (Kindle Edition) for Rs. 227.05.
